Our dated kitchen got a much needed update! Removing a wall, painting the cabinets and adding a tile back splash made a huge difference!! Check it out
Taking out this wall really opened up the space!
The cabinets were in excellent shape, they just needed a fresh update!
I painted the upper cabinets in Sherwin Williams Alabaster and the lowers are in Sherwin Williams Sealskin.
The wall color is Jogging Path, also Sherwin Williams color.
Home Depot installed the Corian counter tops. The color is Silver Birch.
The glass and marble mosaic tile came from Lowe's.
We have since sold this home, but I still miss this kitchen from time to time. I just love what a few gallons of paint and a lot of elbow grease can achieve! Check out more on my blog

I would like to make some slight changes to the configuration of my kitchen cabinets and then paint them. What would you say is the best insurance for getting a good lasting painted finish? I am concerned about chips, etc.
