I need help finding new brackets for my mirror

This mirror belonged to my mother, but unfortunately the brackets have been lost. I've tried everything to find new ones, only to hit dead ends. The brackets mount to the wall because the mirror is heavy, and the mirror mounts then slide onto them. The brackets are 2.5 inches tall inside, and 1.5 inches wide. Any help appreciated!
Picture of the back of the mirror, showing the mounts. The mirror was sold originally as a SwingAway Style and View. I've called the number on the label, but got no help at all.

You can try a salvage yard, or take it in to a hardware store to see if they have something that will work with it and can handle the weight.

Please check out the url below. The diagram shows how these work and while different from what you have, may prove most suitable for your purposes. http://www.amazon.com/CRL-Mount-Mirror-Clip-Set/dp/B000KZV77U

I bought mine at Lowe's, they had to order them and it was so worth it. What you don't see in the sore, they will try to get it for you or at least give you a suggestion of where you might get it. Good luck!

skshort---Hello! My first suggestion is always the same...take it to a glass/window company. You would be surprised at what these guys seem to have collected over the years as far as parts and pieces!

@Accentuations! I tried that first, hit a dead end. They even checked their catalog but no luck. Thanks!

Find a local WELDER.,my son welds he says a welder knows his metals & can fabricate a bracket..or know if a particular metal can be welded. Good luck🍀

So sorry you had no luck. The other thought would be to check your area for a really old hardware store...you know, the grandpa is behind the counter , you might find and the basement is full of all kinds of stuff. If you are as fortunate as I you might get lucky. GOOD LUCK!!

I found shelf brackets I thought obsolete on amazon.com. I would enlist the help of a company that deals w/ glass and mirrors like Glass Doctor, etc.
