Yes! This door can be saved!

Ok all. Sorry the update has been late coming. I just got in to nursing school and my life has been chaos. But as for the door, she is coming along well. I was able to save her. Though I did abandon trying to go without trim. It would've taken me forever to build up the spits where the old trim was. I added new trim and with hubby's help, I finished that today. Now for another cost of primer and my beautiful true turquoise.
Here is a picture of the door earlier this evening. Trim is on, caulk ed, and now I just have to prime again. Some of my original prime cost was sanded away.
See how you can still see the indents when the light reflects off the paint. Ugh.
Here's a close up of my handy work. Once I figured out the angles on the table saw, I was good to go. But the Mr. Did help today because he knew I was so exhausted. :)

    I remember this door =:) Looking good! Glad you decided to replace the trim. Very good choice of trim, I must say! It will be grand when you finish it. Keep us posted.
