What is the best steps in choose the home renovation?

We have approximately about 2000 sq feet of basement to work on.

One contractor to do all works or different contractors for different job?

Thanks

Hire A GC to handle the subcontractors if use do not have the time to be on site daily in the hours they work. This can save you headaches.

2,000SF is a fairly large project. I would use a GC who specializes in remodels. Many issues come up during a remodel that don't arise in new construction.

He will also have the burden of checking on all of the subs to make sure that they are licensed, insured (bonded, if necessary), etc.

I agree with Stephen B. Use a good GC and let them handle the job!
