Water Conservation Effort. Rain Captured and Used.

When I left work I asked for one of the rain barrels they no longer use. The rain has filled up this barrell to the over flow, so I added a second container so we won't loose that water. Water is used to fill bird baths, water plants, wash hands and fill the pets water bold. The barrels silver paint is wearing off - it is black beneath and is in the sun at least 6 hours - It will be ideal for bath water for my dogs.
Pete fixed the down spout to flow into the screened barral opening. Water from the gutter fills it surprizing fast.
An old friend gave this heavy fiberglass trash container to me years ago. Now the overflow has place to be saved.
