    The ethics of working hard in whatever job you are given to do. Do it to the best of your ability the first time because a lazy or sloppy job will need to be redone either by you or someone else.

    “If you borrow a cup of sugar, return two.” My mom taught me to live my life that way, mostly by example rather than words. So she was the type of lady, always a lady, who would plant a beautiful flower garden in a home that we were merely renting, and leave everything in better shape than when we arrived. She always made each place she ever lived in more beautiful for her having been there.
