A Nightstand/dolls House

I had a pair of classical nightstands and decided to use one of them for a project I had seen in the web many times: a dolls house. But I wanted to have my own version! I didnt know Hometalk the moment I made it, so I didnt think of taking photos of the process, but I think the how is very easy to understand when you see the outcome
This is the original nightstand.
I painted the upper part dark red as if it were a roof. Used the drawer to simulate an attic. I had windows and doors cut at the craft store in thin wood and painted them myself. Used some strips of wood I had discarded from other pieces as roof over the windows and pulls at the same time
These are the doors. I painted the whole "house" light cream and with a flat brush simulated bricks in orange. Worked with as many details as I could: added a number next to the door, fabric to simulate curtains, painted stairs...
and modelled flowers in a planter. A little piece of wood reading "Post" is the door pull.
Both sides repeat the design.
And here is my version of a dolls house finished!
And the inside.
Isnt it sweet?
Before and after. Difficult to recognize, isnt it?

WOW!!!!! So creative. I have a medium size cabinet in my kitchen made from metal. I had been thinking about turning into a farm house dollhouse. But, I keep putting it off every year. Life happens and projects get pushed back. But seeing this today, makes me more determined to complete I. Thank you for the inspiration. Have a blessed day.
