This Table Was Like Baking A Cake!

Most everyone has a cake in their kitchen! Well, the ingredients anyway. That's how this project went. I looked around my shop and over in that corner, I had a table base. Hiding behind that thing I just had to have a year ago was a top to an end table, and hanging right in front of me was a big clock!
First I gathered all the pieces together to make sure they would all work together. Then I sanded and stained them in a classic gray, then painted the table top blue.
This clock was dark brown and I highlighted most of it with blue Rub n Buff. I attached the end table top to the table base, then the clock to the table top! It was pretty simple.
To finish it off, I put a thick glass top on it! Thanks for lookin' :)
I have a post for the before/after of these chairs also~

I didn't see the glass top in the materials list. Did you have to order it from somewhere, or did the table have it already?

I just love this table Suzette! Can I ask if you found the clock in the scrolled frame, or is it something you created. I would love something like this in my home, as a table or just the clock with the scroll work on the wall.
  • Love the outcome of this beautiful table. What did you use to attach the clock to the table top?
