Make sure you line the boxes with plastic but have drainage holes. Fill them up with an organic soil for vegetables. Leave enough room in between plants. Water when dry to the touch. Once established feed them with an organic fertilizer stated for vegetables every two weeks until you get your crops.

Look online for tutorial and step-by -step recommendations ...I think there is just too much information needed to write an outline on how to grow an entire vegetable and herb garden for commercial use. Oftentimes garden stores will offer seminars on starting vegetable and herb gardens. Look into that possibility in your area.

Are you growing indoors or outdoors? (Makes a difference in what you can grow ) I think 'quick' crops will be best either way. Cilantro, Parsley, maybe Chives would all do just fine in a sunny window. You can try some of the quick growing leafy veggies such as Spinach, and leaf lettuces, for cut and come again, that will help keep the plants from out growing the space.
