I have a table umbrella minus fabric, up to hold a a vine tree that I have in my driveway I attached to a poll and use wire to encorage the tree to climb and spread to create a canopy. -
@Victoria D. That sounds like a really neat idea. Why don't you post a picture so we can all see??? -
The pic is posted above Susan S -
@E. Vintage - Right - your picture is posted and I did comment on it. I was talking about Victoria's idea of using an umbrella frame and training vines to cover it. -
Oops - sorry Susan S! I'd love to see that too! -
This is such a fresh, whimsical door display!! Love it =) -
What a clever idea!! -
I love that!! -
I actually have some faux forsythia i will use because I don't trust mother nature re the freezing of water in the umbrella. Once it warms up and the forsythia is in full bloom i will replace it. -
Gorgeous! -
How darling...I really want to do this! It would have special significance here in the Pacific NW. -
Lovin' it Eclectically Vintage - Kelly -
That's so perfect with all the rain we're getting in the South and the Forsythia is blooming! -
I agree Kathy R - Mine has been blooming for over a month with all the rain in Alabama but my doors are to far away from the porches to catch the rain water. I could do that in another holder. Love the fresh idea! -
So unusual! Can't help but fall in love with it.
