Pansy rescue, help?

I rescued some pansies from Wallyworld today, they look pretty bedraggled, should I pinch off a lot and let them recover? Or leave them as they are? Will they recover either way?

You can certainly cut out any damaged or yellowing foliage, Bernice. And you can trim back those that look leggy. Make sure you leave at least two leaves on each stem. Give them a good dose of soluble fertilizer after you trim and plant. Do keep in mind that pansies are cool-season flowers and that they will decline as the days warm up.
