Old Drawer Upcycle

We live on an alley and we often find 'treasures' there. My daughter found these 2 drawers, so they came home with us! The hardest part for me is deciding which thing to make out of all the ideas in my head! I had just mentioned to Lauren that I needed a better way to store my purses and tada! My idea!!
I took an old drawer and cleaned it up a bit. This drawer measures about 23 inches long, 13 inches wide and 9 inches deep.
We had just torn down some shelves in the laundry to make way for lockers, so we took some of the particle board to use for shelves and dividers. This piece wasn't going out to be seen, so we didn't worry about the quality of the wood.
We even used small pieces of wood for the braces. Completely free project!!
I took general measurements of my purses so I could see the best way to make the cubbies and this is how it turned out. I might need to make one for shoes too!
Here is the mess from the closet. I found purses everywhere! I had to pull out other stuff too, in order to make room for the organizer.
I painted the whole organizer with white paint and when it was dry, I put it to work! This really worked out great!
Smaller purses and bags are stored on the top.
Larger bags and totes on the bottom.

Did you hang it? How about a picture of its final home? I love it.
