plant identification

Does anyone know what type of plant this is? It is a vine, it does not seem to have any thorns, and the stem seems to be a woody type of vine.

There are huge variations in passiflora leaves, Liz, apparently developed as a defense against butterflies. You can see the range of diversity in this photo essay:

Thanks for posting this pic. I've had this vine come up in flower beds at every home I've owned in Arkansas. It is dainty and attractive but never has flowered for me. I have the common Passion Vine all over the place and it blooms and makes soft gourds. The seeds have pulp on them that is sweet, after the gourd turns crumpled looking.

When I was a kid we ate the fruit of maypop (common passionvine) all the time.

Well, I will let this stay, I like the leaves, and it would be awesome to see the blooms if it ever does. I have tried the maypops, they have a good taste, but a little slimy.
