Make It White!

I found this piece at an auction and, although I didn´t find it attractive at all, its strange shape made it challenging for a good makeover
My first decision was to paint it completely white and work on it as if it were a wedding dress. I wanted to make it rich, light, delicate and feminine
I needed to add some interest to this plain door. Found these ornaments made of thin wood at the craft store and painted them white.
Tried differente ways to place them on front door until I liked its general look.
Using two pieces of cardboard and plaster made the lines I needed for the front design...
...like this
drew a small crown
and very patiently started glueing pearls and strass on the lines
Then I continued adding gems to different corners or lines, until I was satisfied with its look.
Look at the finished door
and the whole piece
I decided it would be a special nightstand and at the same time jewelry cabinet, so created division in both drawers.
And this is my set finished. I really enjoyed working on it!

What a beautiful transformation! Where did you get the moldings or appliques?

Your cabinet transformation is beautiful. I want to know where you got your two bottles from though. I love glassware.

Beautiful! I'm curious about the paint and finish. What product or technique did you use to give it that antique look? Is it a gel stain?
