Is This a Weed?

This plant just showed up in our front beds (Central AR). The foliage is pretty on it's own, a bit wilted in these pics, but the flowers are delicate, unusual, & beautiful. Found a few just outside the bed too, but they could've easily spread. Came up last year too, but I recently dug up this bed, added soil, planted other flowers. If this isn't a weed, what is it called? Thank you again!!

It will die back if it is in full sun or doesn't get enough water. I have it in my fish pond along with the water lily and miniature cat tails, my fish eat it and it comes right back, it covers the edge of the pond, filling in between the stones. It is pretty.

I also have this plant. I've always liked the purple...towers or weeds..don't matter. They come back every year! Now I know their name. Thanks all for sharing.
