How did you do this, Laura? Do you have a picture of what it looked like before?

I have one that is about 12 years old, and I was thinking of doing the same thing. Thanks for sharing this information with us as this sure gives me more motivation to go ahead and do mine. I find that the metal of these old ones are much better than today's metal ones.
