I bought this steamer trunk from a yard sale, I had talked to someone and they told me it was from the 1930s, it has what looks like camouflage edging and the color is brownish green. The interior is still real nice, it does have one handle missing. My question is does anyone out there know about this style of trunk and what it could be worth?

I would google the images of antique trunks and see if you can locate it or a similar version.

Unless it has a name or manufacturers information on it, it would be next to impossible to know anything about this other than the fact that it's a beautiful vintage piece with decades of stories of the travels it may have had. The value is most likely sentimental. It's an amazing trunk!

Your color description sounds 'military' grade. Much ship travel was miltary back in the day. Value is like anything else, it is worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Likely would resell at flea market $100-250 as it has nice interior box. Hard to tell the material, but i might 'shoe polish' it to give it a 'spit shine' appearance. Nice that it is a flat top, much more practical to use as table surface than a dome top.

The date could be 30's or 40's. However, we sell a LOT of trunks in our shop and depending on where you live (In Vt-NH we're hard pressed to get $25 yet we can travel to a NY show and get $50+. But really, they are pretty common.
