Refinished Habitat ReStore Dresser

Don' throw away that old dresser you have stored in your basement or taking up space in your attic. Instead, transform it into something you love. I took a discarded Habitat ReStore dresser and made it look like new by refinishing and staining the top and using chalk paint for the base and drawers of the dresser. Also kept all original hardware which made it a very affordable project that anyone can do.

I love the look of a piece of furniture with the tops left natural wood and stained and the bottom painted in a white or off white shade.

Thanks Mary! I think the dark top looks so pretty with the white. Glad I went with that!
