Photos from the Atlanta Botanical Garden

My visit to the Atlanta Botanical Garden with Erica was amazing. I wanted to share some of the photos I took. I was most enthralled by the lady slipper orchid. It's resemblance to a lady's slipper is uncanny! I just want to say that I really enjoy seeing the pictures of flowers that you all share here and I'm so happy to finally have some of my own to share as well.

LOL. I actually feel the exact same way about pictures of flowers. I often tell people that their pictures "light up the website" which I really think they do, but THEY probably think I'm nuts!

I love the lady slipper also. Very sweet. At some angles it also looks like a sweet innocent predatory insect! I love the orchids, they look like they have beards! The poppies are lovely too, different from those I am used to seeing.
Nice job Miriam, your pictures made us proud!

I know, but I love most things that can only grow in warmer climates. Artificial Spanish Moss and fake palm trees aren't quite the same, just to name two things ya'all have.
