How many times have you let your hanging baskets wither in the sun because you got tired of watering them every day? This year, install a micro-irrigation system and let it do the work for you! It's surprisingly straight forward and relatively inexpensive. And I've got all the details to get you started right here.
There are many different ways to set up a micro-irrigation system, but here's how I did mine.
There's no reason your hanging baskets can't be lush and beautiful all summer long, even while you're on vacation!
Tomato plants, herbs, and any other container plants you have will benefit from a micro-irrigation system.

Has anyone ever used baby diapers in the bottom of their hanging baskets? Cut the part that holds the water out and put it in the bottom before putting your potting soil in. They will hold water and you won't have to water as often.
