any good chemicals on the market for killing fleas?

have purchased several different brands from Lowe's, none of them are killing all of them! Even the fogger left some behind. What else can I do?!

Fleas typically have s short life span, its the eggs that you need to worry about. Steady vacuuming every day along with borax dusting in carpet after cleaning will slowly remove this offending pest. Chemicals will do nothing to the eggs unless its directly applied to them. Which is difficult to do when the eggs are between cushions and buried deep in carpet piles.

Leah M you didn't mention if you have animals in your home. What did foggers tell you that started the problem? I thought fogging fixed all problems.

Fleas run in 3 weeks cycles. I have dogs and cats in the house. I use "Enforcer Flea Spray" for carpets & furniture. Find this at "Walmart" I also use Borax (found in detergent isle), and table salt mixture on the animals and carpet and furniture. You can leave it on the animals and leave on carpet, furniture for a day. Vacume and make sure to throw outside the stuff you sweep up. Borax kills the adult fleas while the salt kills the larva stage. Do this every week to make sure you break ...»
the cycle. You also can use natural ingredients of lemon juice, peppermint oil,and clove oil. This will not kill fleas but will keep them off your pets. Best thing to remember is to be persistant, fleas are a tough battle but you can win!

This is really working. We used Ortho Spray and it knocked them down but the salt and borax is really doing a great job. Hubby walked thru the apartment and found 1 flea on socks yesterday. Before he was covered on his socks. We will put more salt and borazx down. We bombed last night with a chemicals. No one is living there because of these fleas.
