This Ain't Your Granny's Hall Tree!

I never see things for what they are. I walked into a thrift store and saw two speaker stands. Well, what I really saw was two legs and feet!
First I took the strings off the guitar. It was a real cheap one that couldn't carry a tune. I screwed the legs on either side of the guitar and re enforced it with wood on the inside.
Next, I found two vintage iron plant hangers and they became it's arms. I attached them the same way. I found an old black desk lamp shade and attached it at the top where the tuners are to hold a hat.
I painted the feet to look like wing tip shoes and gave him a bow tie and top hat.

There you have it! Definitely not your Granny's hall tree! A Jazzy new take on an old idea. And, it will make you smile as he greets you when you come home! Thanks for lookin' :)
