I am thrilled to share the roses that my rose bush produced this year. I have never had such success.

The other bushes died.

Beautiful! I also love fresh flowers in the house but since I moved here to So Florida I haven't had much luck. I'm trying roses again and will put them in pots where the rain won't hit them every afternoon. Here's hoping, and happy for your success!

Roses like a certain climate best. I lived in Oregon for 18 years and they loved it there. I am in Virginia now and am experimenting with trying to grow roses like the ones I had in Oregon. We shall see...

@Patti you might want to try something other than a hybrid tea.. they are the most picky,, and prone to mold and brown spot.. I have tried H-T for many years,, and have gotten tired of all the issues and switched to shrub, groundcover, and landscape roses with much better success..Check out COTTAGE FARMS roses, I've had good luck with theres.. BTW, mine were a bit slow the first year, but took off the 2nd..
