Landscaping

Anyone with ideas in this area for plants. Full sun, drought tolerant, low maint, favorite color purple. Should I raise the empty area in the front to place some annuals and perrennials. Thinking about purple coneflower, purple salvia, purplewave petunias.? Should I move the smaller shrubs Help! Please

If I wanted perennials, I'd probably replace those very small shrubs with some carpet roses/drift roses. If you like being able to switch things up from year to years, I'd still replace the smallest shrubs with some Lantana (a colorful annual that grows like CRAZY in full sun and tolerates heat/drought very well).
