I have a Boxwood shrub that is dying. Please help!

I relocated this in the Spring and it was doing fine. Now its not growing and has a different color than the rest of the boxwoods next to it. The others are quite healthy.

Wouldn't it just be stress for trying to regrow new roots?

If you keep the soil evenly moist this summer it should turn back deep green.

How long ago did you transplant it? How big is it and were you able to get a good root ball? Did it start going down hill after that last cold snap that we had?

Its about a 2 ft. bush. Its darker than the rest of the bushes. It has no new growth like the rest.

I think it's trying to get re-established so can't put any energy into putting out new foliage.

Give it some time to re-establish itself. Boxwoods are generally hardy but it will take time for the roots to establish themselves. A mild fertilizer wouldn't hurt, but not full strength. Also make sure it's watered well so all the air pockets in the ground surrounding the roots are vacated.
