Old Wooden Bench

1 Material
I started by taking off all the old wood
I measured and cut the pieces, planed them to make them slightly thinner, sanded them and drilled holes in either end. Painted the metal at this point too.
Reassembled it
Put back the iron backing and plaque and polyurethaned the wood to help make it last.
Suggested materials:
  • Wood, black metal paint and polyurethane   (Garage)

You're welcome! Buying wood to replace the old ones is way cheaper than buying another bench. I'd gladly do this again if I saw someone getting rid of theirs.

We have similar benches and chairs which came with our house in a very similar condition. It was wonderful to see what you have achieved, so these will join the to-do list haha. Thanks for sharing and great to know that they will be cherished in years to come.
