Vintage Paper Doll With a Modern Twist.

Do you remember paper dolls from your childhood?
They were printed on thin card . . . and came with paper clothes. . . with those cute little tabs.
Paper dolls may have lost some popularity over the years, but I've transformed a vintage graphic into a new version of the paper doll. This is Pearl, my 'Keeper of the Buttons' and she proudly keeps watch over my button collection in the studio.
I adhered the vintage paper doll graphic to wood and cut it out with a scroll saw.
I painted the sides of the doll and gave her a sweet garland of vintage buttons to hold.
'Pearl' is the perfect addition to my button collection.
