Everyone loves decorating with old wooden windows. Here is a great ,simple project that will add color to your room and be unique as well.
Wooden window project
Start with and old wooden window that has the glass removed
Paint it, clear coat it or whatever you need to do to the window itself. Then cut squares that fit each pane from corrugated board. Wrap them in fabric and tape it to the board with masking or painters tape. You could use adhesive but this way you can use new fabrics to change the in minutes.
Fit them into the window panes from behind and secure them with small nails or tacks to hold them in.
I used quilting "fat quarters"for this one
There you go . These are simple, They are easy. They are a little different from what you see everywhere else. Perfect for a craft or quilters room, in your bedroom or anywhere you want a little vintage look. They kind of remind me of stained glass.
