Keeping it clean while installing smoke and CO alarms

Adam Carolla's Ace on the House Podcast gave this tip and i put it to use while installing several smoke and CO alarms.

You place a piece a blue tape on the wall and attach the smoke alarm container to it. The dust from the drilled holes slides down the wall via the blue tape into the container. This eliminates dirty floors. It's crude but works.

Will do and thanks. Looking forward to your help in the future on projects I think up. I have always been a DIYer. Only problem is I have been out of work for 5 months and money is very limited at this time. But my mind is reeling with things I want to do in the future. Keep on educating us on how-tos. It's greatly appreciated.
