Father’s Day is right around the corner! If your dad is a golfer (or even if he’s not), give him the gift of knowledge – his favorite golf tool can also be used to solve problems around the house. Here are four uses for golf tees:

Fix a Wobbly Door. If you have a wobbly door, your problem is likely a stripped-screw, loose-hole combo on the hinges. This can be a hassle to fix, so here’s a little trick: Remove the stripped screw.
Easily Open Boxes. Thanks to modern advances in packing tape, opening a box can sometimes feel like breaking into Fort Knox. Become a package-opening expert by using the sharp end of a golf tee to break into the box.
Hold Corn on the Cob. Corn on the cob is delicious, but eating it can be messy work. If the idea of holding corn on the cob is enough to make you choose broccoli instead, try this.
Anchor Balloons Outside. Nothing says “party” quite like balloons, but nothing says “tragedy” like balloons flying away to parts unknown. Don’t let balloon escapage happen to you – anchor your balloons throughout the yard.
