I attended a Dog Bite Seminar today for legal, law enforcement and health care professionals (definitely not in my usual construction law realm). The fabulous Victoria Stillwell was one of the presenters. Some great info on recognizing dog signals..... you would not believe the pictures we saw posted by parents of kids and dogs where the dogs were in stress and giving signals that they could bite and parents thinking everything was so cute. Over 50% of kids will be bitten before they graduate high school. Reading your dogs signals is critical..... and NO DOMINANCE TRAINING METHODS!
