Your little bowl is so cute! Can you tell me what kind of paint you used for the clay pot? I painted one a few days ago and after drying the paint came off really easy if something rubbed up against it. So I'm wondering what a good paint for clay pots would be.

Would you please give instructions on the flower? It says to trace them on paper or vinyl, and mentions that the paper may bubble. It looks like you used vinyl, if so, where did you buy it, and how did you make the flower look so flawless, with no jagged edges. What type of glue did you use to attach the flower? I have never done anything with letters or flowers, etc., so if you could give me instructions on how to do it, I would be a happy camper! This is such a cute idea, and not expensive at all. Thank you for sharing!

Did you hot glue the wing nut on the pot before painting, or did the hot glue cause some of the paint to dissolve? I noticed the hole in the wing nut looks like the original color of the pot.

The design you decide to use can be etched on the glass as well. I do not remember what ingredients were used, but in another project they created their own etching material from stuff at home, and put their own stencil on it. (it was about a father's day gift. sorry i can not remember the ingredients
