Magic Evening

The "story" begins with an old glass cup that I bought long time ago to keep pencils in it. I recently moved into a new house and... it is time to throw things away or... to reuse them. I love to reuse!
My drowing talents are "zero" but I like to play with the colors from time to time, like a child. First I practiced a little on the paper to see if my hand remembers how to make a line. Than I cleaned the cup with terepentine. Here is the glass paint that I bought long time ago from internet. The tube is with gold paint and I used it to make the lines. The rest of the paint is translucid.
Next step.... I started to play and to enjoy the process. I made first the lines. I waited for them to become dry... like 20 minutes and then... the colors.... Pretty simple!
When I felt like the "master piece" was ready... I've left it to dry. I couldn't decide at that moment if I will put later on pencils in it, I will drink milk from that cup, sell it... give it as a present... Actually I added later some trees and I called the paint "the green street" ;-)
When the evening came... my bedroom was trasformed into a magic place.
When the light of the candle moved, the shapes from the trees and houses moved gentle too.
What a good moment to read stories.... to dream... to feel like you touch the magic!
The paint from the cup is completely dry in 2-3 days (if you don't put it in the oven). I can wash the object that I've paint but not with hot hot water, not in a washing dishes machine, I don't let it in the water for a long time.

I know now what my Christmas presents for my frends will be. But please... don't tell them yet! Keep the "secret" so they can enjoy the magic!

Did you cover the entire painting with a clear? You mention them in the beginning but then you don't say in the tutorial. Matsubr@shaw.ca
