It is a Convex mirror if it is bowed out. if it is bowed in it is Concaved. or just plain mirror squares.

I have never seen this type of mirror arrangement before. I cannot imagine this being something of a DIY project. Just putting the mirror squares together on some kind of various slants, then attaching it all to the wall somehow seems very very difficult and, to me, very dangerous to hang all this glass right above the bed where one sleeps.....

CB2 sells a version if this. I've seen it in-store. The most complicated part would be building wedge shaped backing for the mirror squares so they could be angled correctly.

I'm guessing it's mirror squares as well. Assuming the purpose is to reflect light all over the room, the mounting angle needn't be extreme. Were it me, I'd get a pack of shims from the home improvement center and place one or two on the back of each square before randomly mounting on the wall.

I'm in agreement with answers 2 & 3 as well, looks like mirror squares someone assembled into an impressive arrangement, have to admire the design, not a massive mirror person myself.

I would be concerned with the edges of those mirrors cutting whoever moves around in the bed! Unless all corners within reach of the bed are beveled that headboard could be a "bloody" nightmare. It took a heck of a lot of very precise measuring and cutting to block the backs of the mirrors to get those angles. If you can't do it yourself you will be spending lots. Why not show this picture to interior woodworkers/cabinet makers in your area? They are after all professionals at this kind of thing . Good luck and if you get this done please post pics and cost info.
