How to Make a Patriotic Burlap Table Runner

With the 4th of July right around the corner I made a fun, patriotic table runner.
Here's the supplies you'll need:
burlap
ribbon (red and blue, 1 foot longer than your burlap)
scissors
iron
I used a piece of burlap 6ft long by 1ft wide. To make the slits in the burlap I folded over the edges and cut 1/4 slits every inch along the sides.
Then I ironed the burlap.
When weave the ribbon through the slits.
I tied off the edges of the ribbons so they wouldn't slide through.
A simple way to jazz up your 4th of July tablescape!

I love your burlap table runner! The red and blue are so pretty. I also made a burlap table runner recently (which I posted on HomeTalk). It was a fun, but messy project!
