Looks like Red bud. What do the leaves look like. Are they large leaves and the bark kind of reddish?

Here is some detailed information on the redbud tree.

Cercis, or Redbud, is a genus of about 6 to 10 species in the subfamily Caesalpinioideae of the pea family Fabaceae, native to warm-temperate regions. They are small deciduous trees or large shrubs, characterised by simple, rounded to heart-shaped leaves and pinkish-red flowers borne in the early spring on bare leafless shoots.

It does look like a redbud, but in most parts of the country it would be late for those to be blooming since they can bloom as early as March in the southern part of their range. Where and when did you take the photo?

Redbuds can split... In my case they did! And one year later (spring) I noticed new shoots , on both trees. Yea! Self grafted? Planted the Red buds in 1995, and both thrive today!
