Do you love to climb into bed at night and feel the freshness of clean sheets that have been hanging out side on a clothesline? Do you take in the intoxicating aroma of nature-dried laundry as you snuggle under the sheets.
Maybe you are thinking about hanging your clothes outside. All you need is a clothesline and a clothesline pole. Ok, the clothesline is easy, but what to use for a clothesline pole? I have a quick and inexpensive idea for you that you are going to love.
Here is the pole my husband and his brother-in-law created for me. Super simple and inexpensive and you can make it in 10 minutes.
PVC pipe comes in 10 foot lengths. Cut your to meet your length. I cut off 2 feet so my pole is 8 feet long.
Attach the t-joint to the top of the PVC pipe. No need to glue. It will fit snug. Mine has been on for months and has not come off.
It keeps my clothesline pole up so that my sheets can dry and smell beautiful.

Lagree Wyndham on May 23, 2016Great Idea. I line dry everything, weather permitting. I have 4 forty five foot lines, and use permanent "H Bar" built out of treated landscape timbers. With the H Bar in the middle of the lines there is no need for prop pole. It works great if you hang a lot of loads at one time.

Eclectic Red Barn on May 23, 2016@Lagree Wyndham That is a great idea too. That would hold a lot of clothes. I am jealous. I line dry everything but towels.
