How to Paint Fabric With Kool-aid

Learn how to paint fabric with Kool-aid in this step by step tutorial. IT is easy and will stay stained even after washing.
This project is a fun summer project. WE are making watermelon themed place mats with Kool-aid paint. Just be careful it will stain clothes and dogs.
Mix your kook-aid with a little bit of water, not full strength
This will be your paint for the fabric project. Packets of Kool-aid diluted or with a little water.
Using a foam brush paint on your watermelon rind on the fabric place mat
Leave a small space then add your pink color
Use a fabric pen to make seeds and then you will need to set the color in your dryer.
Suggested materials:
  • Canvas place mat
  • Kool aid powder mix
  • Fabric markers.
