What is the best way to handle and preserve radishes before serving?

Should they be soaked in vinegar and placed in refrigerator?

I usually just soak them in some ice water for a bit before serving or using in a receipe. I find it crisps them and takes a little of the "bite" offf.

making a nice brine with red hots really gives them some interesting flavor [ not that radish does not have enough] however if you are looking for a new twist it is worth it . Another option is to mash them just like potato :) good luck and enjoy
