This is a little headboard I found at our local Goodwill....I cut in half, and cut a 2x4 for a back leg...cut an apron out for the front to hide the bracing....and painted it! http://www.dejavuedesigns.com/headboard-bedhead-garden-bedbench/

    It turned out beautiful, I made one also have it in my from porch with lots pillows. Found headbored and foot bored on the side of the road. Someone was throwing it away.
