This Is Not A Cooking Post...It Is A Clean Kitchen Post

Last week I bought a new stock pot and this week decided to make some stew on a damp, chilly Monday. While cooking down the spinach, onions and garlic in a little olive oil I noticed there was nothing escaping over the tall sides of this pot onto the stove top!
I laughed with hubs and told him from now on most of my cooking was going to be in this pot. Then I thought to myself, why not? Why use a low cooking pot or skillet when this one was a fortress against making a mess!
IT WORKED!
My chops browned beautifully, the gravy was added, the top went on and they simmered...but the GREAT news was I did not have a speck on the stove to clean!
Now you just can't beat that!

My chops are cooking; no grease splattering! I love it!
Please note not a speck of splatter on stove while chops simmer!

Jeanette S on Aug 07, 2016UPDATE Hanna V: I cooked fish in this and found you just can't turn a whole side of a fish in this deep pot...it sort of broke apart a little. It was still good so we ate it! (I forgot that almost done fish will flake apart! OOPS) Next time I am going to cut the fish in have so I can turn the shorter pieces!
