I did something like this with two found chairs. I put them facing each other. My dog loves to lay on the bench on the front patio. -

I am in love with the chair and with the idea in general..I attempted to make a chaisse lounger from an old sofa, but once I removed all the backing, I became discomfobulated and threw the whole thing away. Great Job! -
