What can I make with this wooden toddler bed?

Hi my name is Lisa, I found this wooden toddler bed and trying to think of what I can do with it for my yard. I just moved into a cabin in the woods so it will have to have a rustic feel. Any suggestions?

You can make a swing for your porch, or a daybed for naps outside.

Honestly I would remove the front small portion of the piece and build the long sides up and use it as a raised garden feature either with flowers,vegetables or both.

I agree with Blanca"turn it around and make it into a daybed for your porch.now that the weather is nice,you will not regret it.

Remove the safety rail. Then make it into a bench or even a porch swing by adding a back and some cushions. If you do the swing make sure you reinforce everything. Lots of extra bracing.

Check out "head board to bench" posts on Hometalk. Since it is a toddler bed and so small you may want to cut the foot board in half and add those halves to the sides of the head board to make a decent sized bench. Also since it is low you may want to build your own bench and add your customized "head board" to the back. The side rail can be cut in half and used as arms.
