Now here is a cool project that my friend Katie Cooper did.

This was an old cinder-block building that was used for storage. She added wood at the top and the gingerbread trim, put a french door from Habitat for Humanity. Put a $10 fan inside & made it her art studio.

So cute! Are they going to paint inside too? I could use a shed like that to listen to music in away from the TV!

HI LeeAnne...I still love this, especially as we are just beginning to get hit with the hot we expected a few weeks back.Looks so cool and inviting.

How are the mosquitoes? And whatever the red thing is, maybe an orb of some sort? Stands out beautifully!

Mosquitoes are always annoying in the summer. I use off.

Amazing what Katie made of a cinder block structure. I am not creative but I have learned a lot about "fixing things up" & felt creative when I primed and painted trellises that I would have replaced. I love Hometalk & learn something everyday I visit.

Plant one or two mosquito bushes in your flower boxes. They are pretty to humans, but squeeters don't like the smell.
