There are three distinct differences between termite and ant swarmers
1. Termites have a thick waist ants have a pinched waist.
2. Termites have straight antenna and ants have a bent antenna.
3. Termites have two pair of wings longer than the body and they fold straight back, Both are equal length and drop of shortly after flight.
Ants wings are more like flies they come off the side are not equal length
and they usually stay on longer till the ant pulls them off
