I tried growing clematis twice and both times it died. How did you get yours so beautiful?

Shade for the roots and sun for the flowers ( top) and don’t trim back to much, vines like the dead wood.

i too would like to know what the white ground cover is..is it Alyssum?..its beautiful...and did it spread like that or you planted a few and they spread? thank you
