How to get rid of mold in a small area above a soffit. Do I need chemicals or what?

    I sprayed chlorox and the mold was gone!!!

    The bleach works but I would also find out what is causing the mold.

    Bleach or vinegar in a spray bottle will fix you right up, Garry. I agree that you should locate the source of your moisture.

    Thank you all for your input. I have eliminated the source of the moisture. Now all I have to do is get rid of the mold and replace the one piece of the soffit that has been affected.

    A solution of 1 to 10 bleach to water will remove any mold or stains. Mr Clean eraser might work well as well.
