Black velvet petunias

Have you ever seen a black petunia? Not dark, dark purple but really black. I found some at my fav garden center. They're amazing!

    I have never seen a black petunia, and was just thinking that next spring maybe I will take a trip to Palmyra and we could go to your garden center. i would love to get some!

    Yes, they read black with just a slight hint of purple. Like black velvet with a sheen. I saw them at Home Depot or Lowes and used them as part of a UGA garden for a client.

    I've never seen them before and they are beautiful! I love them and as long as you pinch back the dead flowers, they will soon begin to overflow! Who's your favorite garden center --can't be Home Depot or OSH !!!

    Yes, I have been waiting for 2 years for them since I saw them in Better Homes and Gardens. I paired mine with "lemonade" petunias...a soft yellow with a very soft outline on the perimeter of pink. Lovely little plants!

    Yes i have. Planted them in the middle of a large container with a white flowers all the way around. Going to be awesome. Purchased at Kaw Valley Greenhouses.
