You made my day! I could not believe my eyes when I saw your Patriotic tree! I worked as Administrative Asst. to the Veteran's Officer in the Town of Framingham MA. Massachusetts is very good to all their Veterans, they go all the way for each and every one of them. I came in contact with so many of our Veterans, older ones WWII, not too many that served in Viet Nam, of course Veterans of the Korean War and younger ones presently serving. It was a wonderful experience and certainly my privilege and my pleasure. Most of them, older and younger were all wishing they could serve again. I used to kid and tell my girl friends that I had my own RESERVED MAN POWER SUPPLY. It was great being in a position to assist these couageous and generous individuals.. Six of my 8 brothers served. 5 at the end of WWII and one in Korea. I wear an American Flag on my lapel every day and fly our Flag on my car, that's the least I can do to show I support our Military. You would be surprised at how many people tell me that they like seeing our flag on cars. I wish I was in a position to hand flags to each of these Americans. Happy St. Patrick's Day, be sure to wear your Green on Monday.

My Dad was a WWII Vet along with all of his brothers. My Husband's Dad is a Korean War Vet. He was a Marine and received a Purple Heart. On April 24, My FIL, My Husband and my 2 sons ( in their 30's now) are going on a bus trip to Washington , DC to see the War Memorials. I am looking forward to having a picture of 3 generations standing in front of the Korean War Memorial. My FIL is 85 y/o so we are really looking forward to having that photo taken....I Live in PA and within walking distance from my home is a Veteran's Hospital. I do decorate trees for all holidays and all seasons. My Patriotic Tree stays up all Summer long.... St. Patrick's Day is a big thing here as the Parade in Scranton is one of the largest in the country. Many Irish Immigrants settled here in North East Pa. Enjoy the Holiday!!
