Shoe Storage Made From Repurposed Aircraft Part Carriers

I needed shoe storage for my kids that could stand up to their dirt and abuse. When I spotted these old crates used to transport aircraft parts I knew they would be perfect. Read the details here http://www.laughingabi.com/shoe-storage-made-from-repurposed-aircraft-part-carriers/
Cleaned up and clear coated, this crate's natural discoloration and patina give it character.
Shoes, shoes, shoes.
These aircraft part crates can stand up to anything my kids dish out. I don't have to worry about them getting dirty or damaged.

It was worth a shot Becky! We live in Chicago & just happened to be in Wichita for a wedding. The Hubs wasn't too excited about hauling these things all the way home but it was definitely worth it.

Yeah, I probably, no I know, I already have way too much "stuff" anyway. I'm bettin' your hubs thinks differently now that the kids shoes are contained.
